Bri-Stor Apprentices hard at work.

12 apprentices from the Bri-Stor group took part in Team Skills Development Programme, culminating in a project in the community. The group consulted with the staff of the Rhayader Community Nursery to see what improvements could be made to the outdoor play space and garden. The apprentices then planned the project, prioritising the tasks, planning and sourcing the resources required, and then delivered the finished project on time at the end of their course. The image show them laying a rubber chipping surface to a play area and planning and building a toy car “race track”. They also prepared and filled raised beds for the children to grow vegetables and repaired the fence surrounding the garden.
